A message from Richard Davies – OMS DIRECTOR
The business began in 2005 when I returned to the UK after spending many years working overseas. Originally called Oceans Clean, I focused on valeting and aesthetics with an aim to bring a new level of customer service to clients on the south coast.
As my clients needs grew, so did the business. My aim was to always find the right man for the job and ensure the same high standards were adhered to. I was lucky to find and recruit talented, skilled and driven individuals who shared the same quest for perfection as me.
As our team has grown we have an increasing number of skills which we can provide and are now in a position to be able to provide a "total yacht care package". There are still some skills we do look externally for specialist jobs, we are very honest and true to our skill set.
We had clearly outgrown our name and in 2014 we changed it to Ocean Marine Services to create a platform for the spectrum of projects we are now undertaking.
I am very proud of the evolution of the business from the bucket and sponge operation in 2005 through to a multi level boat service provider, one thing remains the same and always will do and that is our attention to detail and high level of customer service.
